Waterfront Gala Menu

Last year's Gala was a hit, and we received rave reviews from our patrons.  Please mark your calendars for this year's Gala, which will be held on Thursday, June 17 at 6pm at Houghton's Kestner Waterfront Park.

The theme for the Annual Rotary Gala Dinner is Fire, Spice and the Global Seafood Grill, served in a table hors d'oeuvre format: tasty appetizer-sized portions served to form an entire meal.  

We will be bringing grilled flavors from around the world to Houghton.  Bring a friend and join us!

Tickets for the Houghton Rotary Gala Dinner should be purchased as soon as possible.  We are only preparing food for 200 patrons.  Buy your tickets before we reach capacity and are forced to close ticket salesTickets can be purchased from any Houghton Rotary Club member, at the Keweenaw Peninsula Chamber of Commerce in downtown Houghton or at this web site.

Chef:  Mr. Eric Karvonen, a graduate of the New York Culinary Institute of America, former owner and chef of The Country Haus Restaurant, now the executive chef (extraordinaire!) for Michigan Tech.
