The 2010 Houghton Rotary Gala will be a fantastic event!

The 2010 Houghton Rotary Seafood Fest Gala will be held at Houghton's Kestner Waterfront Park on Thursday evening, June 17 at 6pm.

The theme for the Fifth Annual Rotary Gala Dinner is Fire, Spice and the Global Seafood Grill, where a variety of tantalizing grilled dishes will be served.  

We are bringing grilled flavors from around the world to Houghton.  You should bring a friend and join us!

Chef:  Mr. Eric Karvonen, a graduate of the New York Culinary Institute of America, former owner and chef of The Country Haus Restaurant, now the executive chef (extraordinaire!) at Michigan Tech.

Tickets for the Houghton Rotary Gala Dinner should be purchased as soon as possible.  We are only preparing food for 200 patrons.  Buy your tickets before we reach capacity and are forced to close ticket sales. Gala tickets can be purchased from any Houghton Rotary Club member, at the Keweenaw Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Office in downtown Houghton or on this web site.

                      

The Gala is an outdoor dining experience offering fresh air,  fabulous food and live music. The event will be held under tents set up at the Houghton Beach so diners are protected from any potentially inclement weather. Please dress appropriately to the weather on Thursday evening as we will not cancel the event due to weather. Food will be prepared and ready to serve to you and your guests regardless of the weather. NO REFUNDS will be offered.  When you register for the Gala Dinner, you recognize that this is a fundraising event and you are making a donation to the Houghton Rotary Club.

Parking at the Kestner Waterfront Park is limited, so remember that additional spaces are available in the under the ramps in downtown Houghton on Lakeshore Drive.
